Why should I choose The Water Filter Co?

Unlike other suppliers we have a direct working relationship with our UK manufacturer. All our filters are tested up to BS6920 standards which are higher than both the EU and the US standards.

Why are your filters cheaper than other suppliers?

Our filters do not go through several different companies in the supply chain. Some suppliers use filters which have been manufactured in China, then sold to a European distributor, then a Spanish retailer and then onto the supplier before being sold to the customer. Our filters come straight from the UK manufacturer thereby reducing costs and we pass this saving onto you.

I already have a system supplied by someone else, can you still change the filters?

Yes, it is possible for us to change your filters. We can also upgrade your current system at no extra cost to you.

I have a granite/marble worktop, can I still have a water filter tap?

Yes, this is not a problem. We use special diamond cutters to make a hole for the tap and unlike other suppliers we do not charge extra for this.

Do I have to have a seperate tap?

While it is possible to filter the water going to your regular tap it is not recommended. Normally in Spain your main kitchen tap is a mixer tap with both hot and cold water running through it. The hot water is not filtered so it is possible that your your drinking water could get contaminated. You will also greatly reduce the filter life as you use filtered water to wash up etc.

How long does installation take?

A standard installation will normally take around 30 minutes.
